"Pampadum Shola" means "the forest where the snake dances". Nearly 35 km from Munnar (1.5 hours via Mattupetty Dam - Echo Point - Kundala Dam), with undulating terrain between 1600-2400 m. The keystone species is the endangered, endemic Nilgiri Marten; leopards and Indian wild dogs are sometimes sighted at dusk or dawn.
