Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, 60 km from Munnar in Idukki, is home to the endangered grizzled giant squirrel and the only Star Tortoise rehabilitation centre in India, with 225 recorded bird species. Two options: Option 1 covers Thoovanam Waterfall (1400 ft); Option 2 covers Muniyara megalithic caves and ancient wall paintings.
