For the purposes of GDPR, Green Earth Trails is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and through our booking process.

Payment data: We do not store payment card details. Payments are processed through Stripe, which operates its own privacy policy.

To fulfil your booking: Planning and operating your travel program, communicating with you before, during and after your journey, and coordinating with our suppliers and drivers on your behalf. Legal basis: performance of contract.

To comply with legal obligations: Maintaining records required under Indian tax and business law. Legal basis: legal obligation.
To improve our services: Analysing anonymised website usage data to understand how visitors use our site. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.
We share personal data only where necessary to operate your program. This includes:
Hotels and accommodation providers, name, arrival/departure dates, room requirements, dietary needs.
Our drivers, name, contact number, pickup location and schedule.
Activity providers and guides, name and relevant program details.
Stripe, for payment processing.
Google Analytics, anonymised usage data only.
All third parties who receive your data are required to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy law. We do not transfer personal data outside of India or the EEA without appropriate safeguards.
We retain booking records for seven years following the end of your program for accounting and legal compliance purposes. Enquiry data from non-bookings is retained for twelve months. You may request deletion of your data at any time subject to our legal retention obligations.
